Arena, Parks, & Public Works Assistant

Position: Full-time Arena, Parks & Public Works Assistant Opening for the City Of Richmond

The City of Richmond is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Full-Time Arena, Parks and Public Works Assistant.

Major functions of this position include: Maintaining the ice surface and the cleanliness of the arena interior and exterior grounds including an outdoor ice sheet. Serving as the person "in charge" of the arena, in the absence of the Park and Recreation Director. Assisting in the general maintenance and upkeep of city streets, municipal properties, and facilities. Serving as public works contact person in the absence of the department director.

Certification/Licensure Preferred: CDL- Class ‘B’ MN driver’s license

Experience Required: Must be at least 18 years of age, Prior experience in mechanical and repair duties, and Prior experience in water/waste water systems helpful. A competitive benefits package is also provided with this position.
