This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 999 hours per year for all positions combined. Should incumbents work more than a total of 999 hours in a year the appointment may not continue beyond one year of service.

Accountabilities:
This position is in the Metadata and Cataloging Department at Case Library. The successful candidate will have good typing/proofreading skills, and attention to detail. Training will be provided as this position requires the use of Sierra (Library Catalog).
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Creating labels for newly catalogued books and repaired library materials.
  • Making newly catalogued books ready for circulation, and maintenance of database.


Professional Experience/Qualifications
Library experience is helpful.
A commitment to work the 8 to 10 hours of scheduled time.
Task and detail oriented.
Willingness to follow instructions and to work independent of constant direction and supervision.

Work Schedule:
All work will be scheduled between 8:00 am.- 4:00 pm.Monday to Friday, preferably in 2 hour time slots.
