Position Summary

Elon University is seeking a dynamic professional to help execute the vision of Learning Assistance, one of three components in the Koenigsberger Learning Center. This position will support the office by managing administrative tasks, recruiting and onboarding student staff, and serving as liaison to satellite support offices and campus partners.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree required; 1-3 years of experience in an academic support role, including experience gained as a graduate student

Preferred Education and Experience

Master's degree preferred; Experience in higher education strongly preferred

Job Duties
  • Academic Support - Work with the director and assistant director to develop and implement academic support. This includes aiding in the hiring, training, observing, and supervising of approximately 150 peer tutors. Coordinate the scheduling for student staff.
  • Partnerships and Outreach - Serve as liaison to satellite support offices and campus partners; Represent the office at student and family events
  • Communication - Serve as communications/social media coordinator for the office; Assist in the maintenance of office web resources
  • Administrative Tasks - Approve payroll for student staff; Manage email correspondence for the office
  • Other duties as assigned
