The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated departments. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leaders and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the assigned departments, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

What you'll get to do in this role:
* Conduct regular meetings with respective department leaders.
* Consults with department leaders, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
* Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR department leader to develop solutions, programs and policies.
* Assists in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
* Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and helps to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention.
* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
* Assists international employees with assignments and related HR matters.
* Provide business partnering expertise across employee engagement, performance enhancement, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and talent management initiatives. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of those programs to ensure success.
* Provides guidance and input on departments workforce planning, job development, policy development & interpretation, employee relations counseling, and conflict resolution to support the effectiveness of the departments they serve.
* Identifies training needs for departments and individual coaching needs.
* Champion and build positive employee relations culture and work environment.
* Leads the delivery of the full-cycle of recruitment for open requisitions in their area, from sourcing the best talent to effective screening of candidates, screening resumes & CV's, conducting meaningful and productive interviews, submitting reference checks, negotiating terms, and onboarding candidates as needed. Continuously develops LifeCare's brand and employee value proposition.
* Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, e.g. employer branding initiatives.
* Coordinate, implement, and measure success of high school and college recruiting initiatives, including internship programs. * * Participates in high school & college visits, job fairs, and career expos.
* Administers the reference management system.
* Facilitate the interview & onboarding process (i.e. arranging/conducting interviews, administering pre-employment paperwork, entering background check & fingerprinting requests).
* Act as liaison with area employment agencies (permanent and temporary) and recruitment agencies.
* Source talent through high volume outreach via a diverse set of sourcing channels such as job sites, social media platforms, industry events, industry specific membership groups, and diverse college and university networks.
* Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions and announcements.
* Develop and execute strategic campaigns based on target demographics, insights around labor trends, competitive landscape and regional needs.
* Act as liaison with area employment agencies (permanent and temporary) and recruitment agencies.

You're an excellent fit, if you have:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar degree preferred
* PHR, SPHR, CHHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-CSP preferred
* 5 or more years experience in the HR field recruiting experience required excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize tasks
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
* Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
* Ability to learn quickly
