Director of Technology Transfer - Coordinate and manage Montana Tech technology transfer, patenting, and licensing. Duties: Coordinate and manage Montana Tech technology transfer, patenting, and licensing. Act as a technical liaison between Tech inventors and approved patent lawyers. Coordinate with inventors on actions needed for successful utility patent filing. Identify, promote, and harvest invention disclosures on campus. Collaborate with MilTech in Bozeman on performing technology viability assessments to increase success rate of inventions. Create training materials for faculty on patenting and licensing. Oversee and update processes and procedures in the research office related to patenting.
