Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill multiple Visiting Assistant Professor positions, at the non-tenure-track rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, to begin Fall 2024.

The Visiting Assistant Professor will be expected to teach in-residence courses in Economics during the term appointment.

Education: A Ph.D. in Economics or a related field is required by the date of appointment. We will consider highly qualified candidates in all fields of economics. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity for high-quality instruction.

In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
