Maintenance Technician/General Laborer (Experienced & Entry level)
Hiring for two Full-time positions: Maintenance Tech & Apprentice Maintenance Tech
We are a small family business that has been in operation since 1994. We are looking to hire two maintenance people. We advertised below as basically - one person who is skilled in maintenance and one that we are willing to train up. For the train-up position, you don't need to have experience - just a willingness to learn, work hard and work well as a team.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
$2000 HIRING BONUS for this position!
We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Address incoming work orders
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.)
Assist with HVAC, heat pumps, and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.). We do have a contract with a landscaper for the bulk of the work.
- Skills
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20 - $28 per hour
GENERAL LABORER / APPRENTICE
The person in this position is responsible for getting vacant units ready for move-in and possibly some general maintenance mainly at the apartment community. Will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: painting and cleaning apartments, sheetrock wall repair, picking up grounds, and other tasks as assigned.
Successful candidates will work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
Need to have the physical ability to lift at least 100 pounds for installing appliances and other duties.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
