Job Description

• Perform professional technical project tasks and participates in a variety of research procedures.
• Possess a broad understanding of the job.
• Understand how own and related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectives.
• Research information, collect data and prepare analyses/reports as directed.
• Impact the team's results through the quality and effectiveness of own work.
• Explain information to and within the team, noting improvements, efficiencies, etc. to the manager/supervisor and/or appropriate team member.
• Will be handling animals, behavior tests, animal models, and tissue collection.
• Analysis data.
• Training graduate students.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift

9am-5pm

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor or MS degree in a neuroscience related field. At least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $14.51--$25.33 hourly
GGS Grade: GGS-006
University Title: SENIOR RESEARCH/LAB TECHNICIAN
