Laboratory for GPCR Biology

The Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine invites applicants for a research-track faculty position at the Research Assistant Professor level. Outstanding scientists with research expertise related to GPCR pharmacology and chemical biology are highly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates would expand current Department programs on signal transduction, structural biology, and pharmacology of GPCRs. Outstanding opportunities exist for collaboration with both basic and physician-scientists, and a broad array of departments. Applicants should be highly collaborative and envision integrating with allied researchers in basic and clinical departments.

Successful candidates will join a vibrant, diverse, and collaborative Top 10 department based in a Top 3 NIH-funded University that provides excellent opportunities for continuing career development, as well as excellent laboratory space. A Ph.D. in Pharmacology or a related discipline (i.e. biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics, etc.) is required.
