Job Summary

Provides administrative support services for patient care to include scheduling and confirming a large volume of appointments and surgeries via telephone, web, email, and in-person utilizing exceptional patient and customer service skills. Acts as liaison for patient records, maintains accurate databases and records, and ensures all forms and paperwork are completed and correct. Performs basic financial functions and guides students in administrative tasks.


Essential Functions

Coordinate the administrative aspects of providing dental care in the Implant Center; serve as a receptionist for the Implant Center; scheduling patient appointments; providing financial counseling and documenting pay agreements; taking patient payments and preparing daily bank deposit reports; entering pre-authorizations; verifying insurance eligibility; fielding inquiries regarding billing questions; auditing charts; submitting insurance claims; and facilitating the efficient and fiscally sound operation of the clinic.


Physical Effort

This position is mostly sedentary. The ability to move around the clinic and School is essential. No heavy lifting or carrying is required.
