Women's Imaging Specialist

University Radiology, in conjunction with the University of Tennessee Medical Center and University Breast Center, is recruiting for a Fellowship Trained Women's Imaging Specialist. The system includes primary and tertiary care centers with a broad clinical variety of cases and modalities. Our health system and medical practice are expanding rapidly.

The successful candidate will join a team of 4 breast imagers and will work closely with radiology residents. Multi-disciplinary conferences are held weekly and provide a rich opportunity to communicate with Breast Surgeons and members across the Cancer Institute (Center of Excellence). Candidate should be comfortable in a fast paced environment and should be capable of performing a wide range of breast procedures as well as interpreting imaging studies from all breast modalities.

The practice is open to both full-time shareholder track positions as well as employee positions that are 100% dedicated to breast imaging. The full time shareholder track positions will include some non-breast rotations as well as participation in the general call pool for the group. Employed Breast Imaging positions will have no after hours or weekend responsibilities and will be dedicated solely to Breast Imaging rotations. A paid appointment as a Faculty of The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine may also be available as part of this position.
