Marketing
· Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience in marketing or communications.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proven social media strategy and implementation skills.
· Proficiency with standard computer software (ex. Microsoft Office suite, WordPress, Google Suite).
· Proficiency with email marketing solutions like MailChimp.
· Proficiency with project management platforms like Asana.
· Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
· Knowledge of Google Analytics, native social media platforms, and social media schedulers such as Sprout Social.
· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Canva.
· Creative and analytical thinker who uses data to make informed decisions and develops innovative solutions to communications challenges and opportunities.
· Goal-driven, process-oriented, motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit for developing creative communication campaigns and fostering internal and external engagement via social media and other communication tools.
· Proactive and able to use project management skills to manage projects and workload.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· This position is part of a communications team that reports to the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications; works very closely with the Assistant Director of Visual Communications.

Essential Functions:
Marketing
- Helps ensure that the marketing goals of Wake Forest School of Law as established by the Dean and the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications are met.
- Works with the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications to develop marketing strategies and campaigns to successfully market and brand Wake Forest School of Law and its degree programs.
- Works with the Assistant Director of Visual Communications to design and produce visually creative, brand-compliant assets for all Wake Forest Law Communications, including digital marketing graphics, social media graphics, newsletters, posters, flyers, and marketing collateral materials produced for internal and external audiences–with the goal of increasing engagement.
- Collaborates with the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications in devising, writing, and building effective and compelling marketing emails to assist various departments, including Admissions, Experiential Education, and others.
- Leverages data and past insights to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and execution plan, and is able to generate relevant metrics and reports that assess success of marketing initiatives and inform strategic development.
- Collaborates with faculty members, students, and student organizations regularly to publicize, promote, and highlight successes across Wake Forest Law through social media, newsletters, emails, and other communications.
- Helps ensure that the communications goals of Wake Forest School of Law as established by the Dean and the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications are met.
- Assists the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications in consulting with faculty and staff to identify departmental publication needs and helps meet those needs in a timely and cost-effective manner that is consistent with the department's communication strategy and top priorities.
- Pitches and writes content for the Law School's social media platforms, website, monthly and quarterly newsletters, email announcements, alumni communications, and annual publication.
- Works with administrative departments and academic centers across the University to ensure accurate and timely information is conveyed through the Law School website and social media channels. Helps to manage these web pages through the content management system.
- Works with the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications in creating reports to assess return on investment and meaningful metrics for website, social media, and digital marketing.
- Develops and/or follows internal processes to ensure marketing and communications activities function smoothly.
- Supports the department and other groups within the Law School with special events functions.
- May perform additional or other work as assigned.
