WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY's Department of German and Russian invites applications for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of German beginning in July 2024. The candidate can expect to teach all levels of the German language, linguistics, literature, and culture. The teaching load is 3/3. The preferred area of specialization is open. The successful candidate will have a degree in German as well as native or near-native fluency. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a primary classroom instructor in German language classes and seminars. They will also be able to provide evidence of teaching excellence.
